We have made arrangements with the local high school GIRLS basketball team to do a van wash on Thursday from 10:30 till at least 2 pm. all proceeds going to support their school team. They will also be helping us recycle aluminum by putting out special receptacles for the cans.  Please help to separate them so we won't destroy the planet.
The bands are all set and will perform nightly, Thurs. thru Sat.  We will  be feeding you pulled pork dinner Wed. evening, starting at 5:30. and it will be on us. Don't miss it!  For you early birds, Ultimate Express Van Club of Michigan will be having a fish fry on Tuesday, starting at 6 pm. till they run out of fish.  They tell us they are bringing a river of fish so they can feed everyone? We will see.  LOL.  Also a free meal!  You shouldn't go hungry, at least till Friday.
The Fair Board has been busy adding more power to much of the flat ground, that was without last time so you should find it easier to get electric and water.
We have had a lot of questions as to when we would be allowed to start entering the grounds.  Monday is when we plan to start letting people in.   There will be an  extra charge for each days extra camping. $10 per day per van and $10 per day for camping trailer.
We will be having a bus traversing the grounds in a regular route and schedule, to take you to and from your camp.  There will be 13 stops strategically placed around the grounds,  making it easy to get around.  It will run from 10 am till after midnight Wed. thru Sat night.
We will also be running ice delivery following the same route as the bus to bring the Ice to you. We will be selling a large and small bag for your convenience.
We will have a low watt FM radio station working during the Nationals. It will be playing music and making announcements all weekend. Bring your FM radios, boom boxes. or any radio so you can hear everything happening at this years National truck-in.
The U.S. Post Office has produced a special cancelation stamp commemorating the 40th anniversary of the 1st nationals. we will be offering a special post card that you can send with this special stamp on it, SATURDAY ONLY, for the ridiculously low price of one dollar! Including the postage. Send them to all your friends or even your self.
